2012

New Year = New Resolution. That is what most people try to do or want to do. As for me, every year is the same and I dont make promises to myself for anything.

But this year I thought maybe, I should make some promises so that I will stay focused and also disciplined. Well, lets see if it will work. I have been lacking in doing my writing for script or any writing. So I decided to do some creative writing on just anything around me, at least a few entries a week or a month. :)

So for the New Year, I am going to start with one that I wrote about 2 days ago.

He stands as still as possible in the middle of all those hideous looking helium balloons above his head. He is the guy who sells those balloons. It is a Saturday morning and yet, there are not many who come to buy the balloons. He fiddles with his finger while staring blankly at the crowd that passes by him. He has a pouch tied to his waist and a pink scissors in sticking out of it. The only tool he needs for his job. He bends down to pick something from the ground and it is barely visible. He then notices something in front of him and he leaves. Now all that is standing in front of me is the hideous looking helium balloons. After about 5 minutes, the guy comes back, tucks his mobile in the back pocket of his jeans and carries all those 100+ balloons all by himself with the help of his mouth as his third hand and leaves the spot. It is now bare and empty.

Happy 2012 my dear readers!
