Gastronomic Adventure – Kuwait

After multiple transfers, uploading and downloading from the PC to the iPad and back to the PC, finally I get to post AGAIN! (the first time, it vanished).

Oh well, as the title says, this post is going to be all about food. Food Food and Food! During my recent trip to Kuwait, my sister planned to take us to a million restaurants when we had only 4 days. She has been keeping a list and waited to try them out when we came for visit. It was insane! But sweet though! (I got the privilege to try a little more since I stayed 2 extra days).

So, as you could have guessed we tried to fit in as much as we could and wished that a normal human could eat more than 3 main meals!!! I swear, I was suggesting BRIYANI for TEA!!!

These are the pictures I have compiled and sorry for the quality as it was taken with my not-so-canggih- Blackberry! Hahah! (Canggih = sophisticated (as per suggested by online dictionary))

Lets start from before TAKE OFF!

At the Departure Lounge
Asha’s – owned by singer Asha Bhosle
Yummylicious Fish Market
Shrimpy – too hungry, so snapped after eating! It was yum!
Pinkberry
Delicious Thai Cuisine
Thai Cuisine – the crab was good.
South Indian Thali from Saravana Bhavan
Chinese Food for Fathers Day.
On the house Dessert and Fortune Cookies
Shake Shack – the best Milkshakes ever made!
Johnny Rockets – Mozarella stick and Root Beer Float *dies*
Before returning back to Doha. 🙂

Its amazing how our stomach handled it though. There are plenty more that I didnt take picture of the food we had at home and not to forget one meal we went on fruit diet because of too much intake and I felt the worst. Hahaha. On top of all this, we had a chocolate cake for Father’s Day! 🙂 We are truly blessed.

  1. Tusilya, thanks so much for taking the time to visit Shake Shack.

Hope you had an awesome trip, and our team can’t wait to see you again next time you’re in Kuwait (or Dubai, or the US…did you know? We’re international!)
